I remember on one occasion when Don Ross and I went to
Edward Weston's home in Carmel to look at some of his work. Edward would
take a print out and brush it off with a camel hair brush and then blow off
any dust particles before displaying it on an easel. Don wanted to get a
closer look at the image and stumbled, knocking the print to the ground.
Well, between Don apologizing profusely and Edward going to great extremes
to clean off the print, it was a wonder we were ever invited back.
