"Through Extension, the populist dream of education
for all broadens to a dream of education throughout life. Our course
offerings in computer technologies in education, TESL, and teaching
methods, along with Extension's annual Critical Issues Forum, offer
teachers at all levels to alternative experiences in professional
development. Extension instructors provide a bridge between our students
and the exciting new scholarship and programs being presented by the
University academic community."

task of building a new California. Through Extension, teachers gain access
to exciting new scholarship and programs as soon as they become available.
We offer certificate programs, focused study programs, and special events
--- such as a annual critical issues forum --- on timely topics, such as
violence in schools, along with courses in educational technologies,
