"The educators Extension attracts, as students and as
instructors, are representative of what's truly great about our
educational system. From acquiring state-of-the-art skills in classroom
use of computer technologies to gaining a new understanding of how to
effectively teach diverse student populations, these educators demonstrate
an exemplary love of learning. And it is this enthusiasm that lends
excitement to the teaching/learning process at all levels, from pre-school
through college and adult education."

to developing special programs in science and the humanities.
"The humanities encompass so much of what nourishes
our sense of being and belonging in a world community. From learning
another language to appreciating the language of literature --- or writing
your own publishable story --- the possibilities for thought and study
offered in this section will nourish your inquiring, creative, and
adventurous sensibilities."
